Bromley X by X and Healthwatch Bromley are running an interactive United Voices workshop on:
Tuesday 26th September 2023 from 1pm until 2.30pm
at Lewis House, 30 Beckenham Road, Beckenham, BR3 4LS.

Healthwatch Bromley is investigating how ophthalmology services (OS)* are working for people who live in Bromley. We will use the responses to produce a report that will share key findings and make recommendations for improvements to the services.

A patient experience report with 658 reviews collected this quarter about the health and social care services in the London Borough of Bromley, covering the period from April - June 2023.

The E&V visit was carried out on Thursday 21st June 2023. The visit was announced and planned in partnership with the home. During this visit, four E&V ARs were present. The registered manager was friendly and welcoming upon arrival. The atmosphere felt peaceful, and the home appeared tidy.

For ‘Know Your Numbers! Week 2023’ (4 to 10 September 2023) free blood pressure checks will be available at ‘pressure stations’ located around the borough.

With the right support, every child and young person with asthma can learn to manage their condition.

Know Your Numbers! Week (4 to 10 September) from @BloodPress_UK starts next week!

Free blood pressure checks will be available at locations across the borough and you can get home monitors for use at home at local pharmacies.

Based on comments about the service from residents and our committee, Healthwatch Bromley decided to investigate how social prescribing was working in 2022 – 2023 in the London Borough of Bromley.  We developed two surveys – for patients and Primary Care professionals – and a set of interview questions for social prescribing link workers (SPLWs). 

This means that our hospitals will be under a lot of pressure again. This weekend is also a bank holiday weekend.
