Each year the flu kills on average 11,000 people and hospitalises thousands more. This year it’s more important than ever for people at risk to get their free flu vaccine.

We’re looking to appoint two Bromley residents to sit on the Healthwatch South East London Patient Group.

Bromley Healthcare is providing the new Bromley 0 to 19 Public Health Service from 1 October 2020. The service will provide better, more coordinated, health guidance and support for children, young people and families in the Borough.

Do you think it’s important that local people are involved in services?

We conducted a virtual Enter & View visit (online and telephone) of Clairleigh Nursing Home. During our visit, we spoke with staff, family, and service users about their experiences and response to living conditions as well as Covid-19 precautions.

To keep patients and staff safe it is best to speak to a clinician before attending your practice, it may be that you can be treated effectively without seeing a health professional, or directed to your local pharmacy for treatment, however if you need a physical assessment your GP will arrange for you to be safely seen for a consultation in the practice.
