Annual Report: 2021-2022

Our annual report includes how we have engaged and supported people over the year. We successfully gathered 2,442 resident's experiences of health and social care services in the Borough of Bromley and we produced 12 reports about the improvements people would like to see to health and social care services.

Patient Experience Report 2021/2022 Quarter 3

A patient experience report with 611 reviews collected this quarter about the health and social care services in the London Borough of Bromley, covering the period from October – December 2021. We found that 471 (77%) local residents reviewed positively with star rating 4-5, 25 (4%) neutral with star rating 3 and 115 (19%) negative with star rating 1-2.

Enter & View Report: Fairmount Residential Care Home

We conducted a virtual Enter & View visit (online and telephone) of Fairmount Residential Care Home, a nursing and residential care home in Bromley. During our visit, we spoke with staff, family, and service users about their experiences and response to living conditions as well as Covid-19 precautions.

Enter & View Report: Jansondean Nursing Home

Due to the COVID-19 restriction, we conducted a virtual Enter & View visit to Jansondean Nursing Home via Zoom and arranged telephone calls with residents. We found there was a positive atmosphere throughout the home and the residents appeared to be completely at ease in the presence of staff. The general atmosphere appeared to be positive and friendly.

We conducted a virtual Enter & View visit (online and telephone) of Coloma Court, a nursing and residential care home in West Wickham, Bromley. We found that there were mixed reviews regarding the home amongst the staff, relatives and resident's feedback.

Patient Experience Report 2021/2022 Quarter 2

A patient experience report with 601 reviews collected this quarter about the health and social care services in the London Borough of Bromley, covering the period from July – September 2021. We found that 415 (69%) local residents reviewed positively, 35 (6%) were neutral and 151 (25%) were negative.

Covid-19 GP Access in Bromley

We embarked on a joint project with fellow South East London Healthwatch's to assess patients’ experience of access to primary care from July 2021. We gathered the feedback of 149 residents and inspected 43 websites of local NHS GP practices in Bromley.

We conducted a virtual Enter & View visit (online and telephone) of Oatlands Care Ltd. During our visit, we spoke with staff, family, and service users about their experiences and response to living conditions as well as Covid-19 precautions. Based on our findings we highlighted good practice and made recommendations on how to improve the service.

Patient Experience Report: Quarter 1 2021/2022

A patient experience report with 632 reviews collected this quarter about the health and social care services in the London Borough of Bromley, covering the period from April - June 2021. We found that of the total number of patient experiences received 411 (65%) were positive, 44 (7%) were neutral and 177 (28%) were negative.
