Doctors Strike

Advice and Information - 11 June 2026

Some hospital doctors are on strike from Monday 15 - Friday 19 June.

To get the help you need during strikes - and at other times:

  • Life-threatening emergency or serious injury: go to the Emergency Department (A&E) or call 999
  • If you are unwell, contact your GP
  • If you cannot contact your GP, go to NHS 111 online
  • For a mental health emergency go to NHS 111 online
  • Visit your local pharmacy for expert advice and medicines.
