Help South East London Urology Network develop information for men with an enlarged prostate
The prostate is a small gland below the bladder that makes semen and controls the flow of pee from your bladder to your penis. An enlarged prostate is when your prostate gets bigger. If it gets bigger it can put pressure on the tube that carries pee from your bladder, causing problems with peeing.
The South East London Urology Network is developing some information for men who may have an enlarged prostate. They need help from men from different backgrounds to help develop information that is meaningful to men. The information might include:
- symptoms of enlarged prostate
- the different ways of treating an enlarged prostate
- the effects of different treatment
They are planning some small on-line discussion groups and one to one conversations with men who are interested in being involved. They are also keen for people to come and attend a men's group to have these discussions.
Please fill in this short form if you would like to give your views or you would like them to come to your group for further discussion.
Or you can contact Harrison Platt or Rachel King from the South East London Urology Network team directly.
