The HIV Commission’s Final Report and Recommendations are now available here

The HIV Commission started gathering evidence a year ago and has taken written submissions as well as holding public meetings, talking to local stakeholders and community members, to understand the different regional responses to the epidemic.

The key message from the commission is “test, test, test” which obviously has a certain resonance at the moment. The proposal from the commission is that this should be offered as part of general services – for example, registering with a GP – on an opt-out rather than opt-in basis.
