    We embarked upon a research project specifically focusing on GP Access and the patient experience, which took place from November 2014 - March 2015. The report details information regarding booking systems in local GP practices and a snapshot of local people’s experiences and concerns. This report hopes to point out areas of success in the current system and suggest areas where improvements are needed.

These will never replace face-to-face appointments which should be available to patients where appropriate.     Due to the COVID-19 restriction, we conducted a virtual Enter & View visit to Jansondean Nursing Home via Zoom and arranged telephone calls with residents. We found there was a positive atmosphere throughout the home and the residents appeared to be completely at ease in the presence of staff. The general atmosphere appeared to be positive and friendly.
