Mental Health Awareness Week, 15 to 21 May 2023

Mental Health Awareness Week 2023 is an event hosted by the Mental Health Foundation. The official theme for this year is anxiety.

Mental health awareness week is different from mental illness awareness week, which occurs in October. 

What can we do to cope with the feelings of anxiety?

Anxiety is something we can all experience and there are many reasons why we might get this feeling. It can be related to work, studies, social circumstances, confidence, or a change in our personal lives. 

Dealing with anxiety can be difficult. However, there are some things we can do to help us when we are struggling with anxiety. The Mental Health Foundation has made some suggestions that might work for you.
