South London Listens community survey 2022

Last year, hundreds of people participated in the first survey, which revealed the Covid-19 pandemic had a significant impact on people’s mental health and wellbeing, with respondents reporting high levels of depression and anxiety. Many people reported feelings of loneliness, isolation, and powerlessness. The survey results were a powerful motivator for everyone to work together to make a difference.

Take the 2022 survey right now.

This year, the goal is to reach out to even more people from all boroughs in South London to learn how their mental health and wellbeing have changed in the last year.

From plan to action

The work to fulfil the promises made to our communities last year is well underway. A mental health champions training programme has been launched, as has recruitment for the network of Be Well Hubs. Pilot peer support programmes for parents have also been launched, and the first community mental health practitioners embedded in migrant organisations have been announced, among other things.

The survey results in 2022 will help identify areas of greatest need and bring people together to improve lives.
